RIBEX RIB show on the Isle of Wight
For those of you that did not get the opportunity to come to the sunny(Not) Isle of Wight and experience RIBEX 2007 for yourself I can tell you that if you are interested in RIBS, it was a good show.
There was an excellent turn out of exhibiters showing RIBS ( Rigid inflatable boats ) and boat accessories from all over the world.
Probably the smallest RIB on the show with the highest specification was the new RIB from Flatacraft. The largest and most powerful boat on the show was the most amazing rescue RIB from the KNRM, (Royal Dutch Lifeboat Service,) giant 62ft, 28 tonne, 2000hp lifesaving RIB (Arie Visser Class Lifeboats) is legendary all around the world.
I attended Ribex with The Ballistic range of RIBS from JBT Marine and I can tell you that although the quantity of visitors could have been better the Quality was excellent leading to a good number sales, so thanks very much to all of you that made the effort to come over the Solent to the Island and see all the RIBS.
JBT Marine exhibited the following Ballistic RIBS:
