If you’re a RIB owner you may find yourself building a personal attachment to your RIB and the last thing you want is for your boat to get damaged by the elements.  This can become costly and time-consuming to repair, so covers are a must for any serious boat owner.

When looking for covers they should be tear-proof, waterproof, durable, and UV resistant and colour fade.  Good quality covers are worth paying for to ensure full protection to your valuable asset.

Below are a few tips when thinking of buying your covers:-

It is recommended that your cover supplier comes to template your RIB to ensure it fits beautifully when you receive the finished product.

All over covers with belly straps which go right under the hull, great for boats stored on trailers.

Mooring covers with plastic clips round the edge are ideal for boats kept on moorings, they stop rain filling the boat and working the bilge pump, therefore flattening the battery.

Canvas covers can be slightly heavier than those made from Odyssey material, which is lighter, however the canvas cover is generally more durable and has a longer life span.

You can also buy individual covers for your RIB such as a rear bench seat, console and individual jockey seat covers.
