RIB’s vs Class 1 Powerboat

I saw a great article on the Times Online where Jeremy Hart took the ride of his life in a 160mph Class 1 Powerboat. This is a first class account of the exhilaration you can get from a boat that is going to send your eyeballs to the back of your head.

For anyone who has always wanted to get to grips with one of these beasts, you will soon get a feel for the power of these speed machines from Jeremey’s experience.

After reading his account, I don’t think anyone would doubt that getting a ride in a Class 1 Powerboat would be anything less than one of the ultimate buzzes.

Interestingly though, Jeremy did cite RIB’s as an affordable alternative to the ultimate Powerboat.
