RIBs For Sale have recently welcomed this immaculately presented Cobra 8.7m to their brokerage line up. The boat was built by Cobra RIBs in 2018 for their client, the one and only owner. She has been winterised and stored by the manufacturer each winter season from new, which has included regular engine services, routine flushing, fuel additive and multi-point system checks. This is a truly well cared for / maintained RIB. The twin Mercury 225hp V6’s have only covered 55 hours, yes, that’s 55 hours! The all over cover has been in place during the boats down time, and it shows, the tubes are bright and full of colour and in exceptionally good condition.

The shear vastness of this Cobra 8.7m enables a multitude of uses, all in complete comfort. The bow section is either a sociable space or the perfect lounging area, the moulded steps finished with flexi-teak on the port & starboard sides enable effortless boarding / disembarking over the tubes to the dockside. In front of the console there is a comfortable seat with stainless steel handles either side for holding onto at speed, the seat lifts to expose a large storage locker for stowing all the essential kit, fenders, lines, brushes etc. The console facia is ergonomically designed to house enough instrumentation to please the most demanding of skippers. The standard equipment comprises, Garmin 922XS, Garmin 110i VHF radio, Compass, Mercury engine gauge, twin digital throttles, Fusion stereo system, 12v charging socket and onboard systems switch panel. The bucket style, wrap around driver and co-pilot seats are designed to be comfortable and secure at speed, or with the built in bolster folded down they become a comfortable leaning post. On the reverse side of the driver and passenger seat moulding there is a generously upholstered, double rear facing bench seat, which opposes the huge U-shape, forward facing rear bench seat which has storage underneath and integrated stainless steel table bracket. The social capabilities of this RIB really take some beating. Aesthetically, she is stylish and eye catching with blue tubes and contrasting grey upholstery, the flexi-teak decking runs throughout the boat and adds to the luxurious feel of this Cobra 8.7m.
