2008 Ribcraft RIB 6.8 RIB Yamaha F225

This wonderful 2008 Ribcraft 6.8m has arrived with RIBs For Sale from it’s one and only owner to be sold for the first time. She has been well maintained and cared for since 2008, the Yamaha F225 V6 BETX engine has covered approximately 290hrs. She is currently on site here at Trafalgar Wharf ready to view. Ribcraft RIBs are still manufactured here in the UK (Yeovil), the brand has established a global reputation for its build quality, strength and reliability.

The layout of this particular model is configured using 6 x wing back jockey seats behind the “offshore” console, 2 of which are double length, so seating for 8. There is also space for two people on the seat in front of the console. The console itself offers a clean, tidy layout to accommodate the inventory of electrical kit, comprising i-Com VHF radio, Garmin GPS, stereo radio, top mount throttle, compass and twin Yamaha engine gauges. There is space for additional equipment as required. The windscreen is tall enough to provide ample protection from the elements with a secure stainless-steel handrail all round. There is also a stainless-steel grab handle for the co-pilot. In the bow there is a generous anchor locker for stowing the anchor chain and rope. At the stern there is a substantial double stainless-steel a-frame with lights and ariels, and integrated ski post and cleats. Inside the transom, moulded into the deck, are two individual wells, each with their own bilge pump. On the transom there is a fixed ladder for easy boarding after a swim. Two large elephant trunk style deck drains take care of any excess water on the deck.

The tube material is commercial grade Hypalon with looped lifelines and D section fendering providing robust protection while docked or when docking. The upholstery is finished in grey with black piping. The deck is finished off with flexi-teak decking which not only looks good, it feels nice under barefoot. Under the deck is a 180ltr stainless steel fuel tank with water separating filter.
