RIBs For Sale are delighted to represent this 2019 twin engine XS 850 RIB. There are big RIBs and then there are “BIG” RIBs, from the high-rise sheer in the bow to the generous freeboard throughout she is a beast of a RIB. The current owner designed the layout and specification specifically for the purposes of professional diving. The twin Yamaha 150 GETX’s are fed via a 500litre fuel tank (upgrade) which is housed inside the console.

In respect of layout, from the bow, behind the integrated bow roller and fairlead, there is a raised locker / anchor storage area, below that in the step is another locker which houses a secondary anchor. The console is designed at the front to accommodate the liferaft, it could easily be adapted to offer additional seating. Inside the console is the fuel tank with shut off valves which are accessed via hatches on either side. On the facia the equipment comprises, twin digital throttles, stop start buttons, switch gear for all the lights / pumps etc, Garmin 95SV GPS, I-Com 330GE VHF Radio, Plastimo offshore compass, and digital Yamaha engine display. Behind the console there are two jockey seats with storage underneath, and then we’re into SPACE! The deck space is vast, the bottle rack provides space for 8-10 bottles, the remainder of the aft deck has been purposefully left free for gear and people moving about with kit on. Between the aft bulkhead and the transom there are two hatches giving access to lockers which house the three batteries, the isolators, and additional storage space. There is also a manual bilge pump mounted on top of the hatch area as well as an automatic pump in its own dedicated well. The a-frame is a stainless steel “structure” to say the least, with integrated flare / storage box brackets, integrated horseshoe lifebuoy bracket and a 4-rung fold down dive ladder it’s a solid bit of kit! The deck is non-slip throughout, the tubes are donned with lifelines either side and the D-fendering protects her from any form of contact while alongside.
