This boat was purchased new in 2021, the owner has since decided to opt for a twin rig version. We would describe the condition as, Ex-Demo, she really is that tidy! With less than 100 hours of use the engine she is remarkably fresh and ready for her next owner to enjoy! We will ensure the 100hr / 12 month service is taken care of prior to handover and of course she will benefit from the remainder of the manufacturers warranties (5yrs hull / 5yrs tubes / 5years Yamaha) a full valet will also be taken care of by us.

The Ballistic 7.8m’s reputation goes before it with regards to sea keeping and handling, many of these fine boats have ended up in the hands of commercial users simply because of that. With the super “family friendly” layout, she offers a leisure user the confidence to go the distance and enjoy the destination. Once the anchor is deployed and the forward sun pad is removed the table can be erected for six people to sit in comfort and socialize in the bow area. For those high-speed runs there is secure seating behind the console for 7 (4 x jockey seats and a 3 x person bench).

And for the skipper, the console is packed with instrumentation to aid the journey as well as providing entertainment. A large screen Garmin GPS, Garmin VHF radio, Fusion Bluetooth Stereo and a Yamaha engine data gauge and of course drive-by-wire throttle, combined with the hydraulic steering she is effortless to drive.

Designed to excel in challenging conditions it has a proven track record in ocean waters. Tried and tested by top powerboat racers in the 2003/04 Trans Agulhas 1000km race to the southern-most tip of South Africa.  Head-to-head in the unforgiving, shark-infested waters, the 7.8m swept the table, taking three of the top five places at the finish.
