This Shearwater 890s provides comfortable seating 7 via the dual pilot seats, rear bench and the various sunpads around the RIB. The pilot seat feature height adjustable bases by using pneumatic rams for adjustability. Unlike the pilot seat, every other seating position on the boat can be used for storage. The largest storage area on this Shearwater 890s RIB is located underneath the rear bench seat. This is a dry area perfect for all your water sports equipment. For items such as fenders the forward locker would locker would be perfect as it offers drainage into the bilge. The cabin is small yet functional provided a great space for all of your more valuable items keeping them out of the seas reach.

The engine fitted to this Shearwater 890s RIB is a 300hp Mercury Verardo supercharged outboard motor. These engines are whisper quiet and provide exceptionally smooth power delivery due to the inline six configuration. The latest fly by wire controls give excellent response and also prolong the life of the gearbox. There is also a docking mode that limits the thrust available giving you even more control at low speeds. Like all of the high power Mercury Verardo engines electronic power assisted steering has been fitted making her a joy to helm at both high and low speeds. The engine is not only power trim and tilt but it can also be raised and lowered to improve either top speed or handling characteristics.

This Shearwater 890s RIB has been finished extremely durable and high quality materials. Unlike like most other RIBs solid teak decking has been fitted. This is not only a joy to look at, it also reduces the appearance of dirt and gives you more grip underfoot. The tubes on this RIB have been manufactured in Hypalon and are comprised of five separate chambers. All chambers have easy to access valves and are protected with over pressure release valves. The various cushions and pads are water proof and UV protected. All the cushions are removable for winter storage.

Hi Tom,

Just a quick note to say thank you to you and the team for the friendly and pleasant service received whilst the RIB has been drystacked over the last 5 months.

I had a great run back to the Hamble on Saturday with my new jacket (warm as toast), hope to catch up with you during the warmer months where you can show me the finer skills of wakeboarding!
