We are pleased to offer for sale this Second Hand Scorpion 8.5M RIB, an excellent example of a streamlined, fast RIB. This Scorpion RIB is ideal for high speed trips across the Solent, and has a large amount of deck space allowing you to store your inflatables, wakeboards or waterskis ready for towing behind the boat.
The twin Mercury Optimax 225HP outboard engines fitted to this RIB have only done around 200 hours since new, and they will allow you to achieve speeds in excess of 55 knots. The power assisted hydraulic steering will make handling the boat light and easy.
The seating arrangement on this RIB gives ample room for 6 people to have a fast and exhilarating ride in comfort. The convertible helm seats give you the option to ride seated or leaning against the seats, giving you ultimate comfort when going at high speeds. You will find locker storage in the rear bench seat, in the console and in the bow locker, giving you plenty of safe places to store things ready for a fast ride.
Fitted on the console are an assortment of Mercury engine gauges, both analog and digital, as well as a 12 inch Navman plotter, which will give you an excellent view of the surrounding area on the map, whilst providing you with your accurate location on the water. This RIB also has a Icom VHF radio fitted for your safety while out on the water, and a Clarion speaker system complete with 6 speakers to give you excellent sound while out on a RIB trip.
This RIB comes fitted with flexi-teak decking, giving a sleek, attractive look and feel to the boat. You will also find navigation lights on the GRP A frame, which will make your night time navigation easier and safer. This RIB will also come to you with a full boat cover.
