RIBs and Powerboats are happy to introduce this Beneteau Barracuda fishing boat with a Suzuki DF200AP drive-by-wire engine. This plucky little boat is wonderful to helm and there is so much space around her for her size!
The Beneteau Barracuda 7 has always been a popular and this version, with the newer layout, is not just a fishing boat. There are great places to sit in the bow, and the rear cockpit folds out to create large relaxing space. Inside the cabin there is a swivel seat for the helmsperson and one for a passenger. The kitchen unit, located on the starboard side, can be topped with a cushion to create further seating if the weather turns.
She is a fishing boat at heart though and there are plenty features which confirm this. The rear cockpit is well thought out and includes a bait well, a bait table, rod holders and places to store nets and extra rods.
The Suzuki DF200 powerplant will push this boat comfortably in to the thirties, but the sweet spot is around 20 knots as this is where the fuel burn is kinder to the pocket. The hull provides a comfortable ride and is well behaved when at rest.
