The LS68 evolved from the iconic Ballistic 6.5, adding extra length to accommodate larger modern engines and make even more of Ballistic’s reverse scallop chine hull. The result is a capable and reassuring family RIB that combines strong performance with sensible running costs.
The Yamaha F150 is an excellent match for the hull, delivering responsive performance for family cruising and plenty of power for towing watersports equipment. The LS68 will comfortably cruise in the low 30-knot range and, in suitable conditions, is capable of reaching the low 40s.
The sociable layout includes V-shaped bow seating that converts into a generous sun pad, a double front console seat, two single jockey seats and a triple rear bench.
