JBT Marine announces that Ballistic RIBs win a 9 RIB tender for the South African Police. Many of you will already know that Ballistic RIBs are well liked by Harbour masters, Port authorities, fishery protection, drug enforcement teams and many other commercial operators. I am pleased to say that we have done it again!
Ballistic RIBs are just coming to the end of a 9 boat delivery of RIBs for the South African Police. As with all RIBs from Ballistic we are used to building in tight time frames to meet the customer demands. Again this order of High speed Ribs has been delivered in record time which is great news for the SAP (South African police) who are already using these impressively appointed vessels in the harshest of conditions fighting crime.

These commercially specified RHIBs are equipped with seating for 10. Twin Yamaha 200hp engines. Self-righting systems and an impressive range of instruments including RADAR. Each RIB is also fully foam filled which will ensure hull safety even when holed multiples of times (Bullets Etc.) Each has Military grade Hypalon tubes (Pennel material) and high spec of re-enforcement rubbing strakes.

Each RHIB has been made to the strictest of specifications and has to be quality checked and signed off before delivery by the SAP’s own surveyor.
