You are currently in Boating Associations Resources
There are almost as many Boating Associations in Britain as there are Motoring Associations. Where would many a sailor be today without the RNLI , on-call 24 hours a day every day of the year around the coast of Britain. The ever-expanding membership of the RYA is testament to their role in recreational and competitive boating. Not forgetting BIBOA for all you Rib owners out there.
Royal Yachting Association - The RYA is a UK membership organisation for recreational boat owners and crew with over 103,000 personal members.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution - The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a registered charity that saves lives at sea. It provides, on call, the 24 hour lifeboat search and rescue service to 50 miles out from the coast of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, and a beach lifeguard service on 57 beaches in the south west of England. There are 232 lifeboat stations strategically placed around the UK and Republic of Ireland.
BIBOA - BIBOA (British Inflatable Boat Owners Association) was set up in 1990 to help RIB owners not only to socialize and take part in events with other owners, but also to encourage uses of the boat that they hadn't considered before.
