JBT Marine are privileged to introduce this Atlantic 75 RIB fitted with twin Yamaha F115AET engines and sitting on a Rapide twin axle trailer. This is true piece of RIB’ing history and is an utter joy to drive!!
This Atlantic 75 RIB is part of the B Class of lifeboats that serve the shores of the United Kingdom as a part of the RNLI inshore RIB fleet. This boat original commissioned in 1997 for the RNLI and then later the Dorset Police and she is now being offered for sale with recently installed Yamaha F115AET engines.
The Atlantic 75 is the second generation Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) in the B Class series, developed from the Atlantic 21. These boats gradually replaced the Atlantic 21 fleet.
One of the main improvements made to the Atlantic 75 is the addition of a ballast tank at the front of the boat which enables the boat to launch into larger surf than the Atlantic 21. The ballast when full, either of sea water or water from a hose, weighs the same as three fully grown men
Originally commissioned in 1997 for the RNLI this Atlantic 75 Rib is now available having gone through extensive works by its current owner. She now benefits from having twin Yamaha F115 engines which return great fuel figures whilst providing a smooth and quiet ride. The Yamaha engines on the Atlantic 75 RIB should see her pass 30 knots.
